We are pleased to announce that the 5th Bohemian Massif Symposium will be held from June 7th – 10th 2023 at Smolenice Castle in the Slovakia near Bratislava (the Malé Karpaty Mts.).
This symposium follows the successful Variscan meetings organized by Austrian, Czech, and German friends of Bohemian Massif in the Šumava/Böhmerwald in 2014 and 2016, in Presseck in 2018, and in Freistadt in 2021.
The aim of the Symposium of the Bohemian Massif is to bring together geoscientists to discuss the latest data from the research of classical Variscan terrains such as the Bohemian Massif and data from adjacent areas in order to obtain new ideas for possible future correlation research.
